We're walking a lot, which is something Future Me will use to justify our daily caloric intake. Of course, I may not admit that along with these walks--like, up the hill to the Prague Castle--we're stopping for the Czech version of a waffle. We had already planned for a post-castle bakery stop, but when we got off the Charles Bridge, we smelled crepes. "But, this walk is uphill and it's cold here, so you're obviously burning a lot of calories, so you should eat it, because how often do you eat sweets anyways?" a bratty, teenage voice inside me was reasoning with me in a la awkward run-on sentence. It took no convincing to get Samantha on board, and a crepe detour was in order. When we didn't see crepes, the next best thing was a waffle.

It's not the waffle we were expecting. It was missing the crispy part of the outside and only had the light and fluffy part from the inside. I guess some people would call that cake. I call it love--given that the heart-shaped waffle was smothered in strawberry sauce.
We even made it to the castle. (Even though it was closed.)
